The Beas river in Kullu valley of Himachal Pradesh is a haven for extreme kayakers and beginner rafters alike. The upper reaches of the Beas river near Manali provide an un equaled class 4 + section for extreme kayakers. The same river 40 Kms down stream provides for a 2 – 4 hours raft trip suitable for all levels of expertise. Even though the commercial sections for rafting on the Beas are limited, the river more than makes up by it’s adrenaline pumping white water action.
