Trip Highlights
The MHE Jungle Camp is located in the
pristine forests of Garhwal Himalayas. Surrounded
by a forest reserves on three sides this is
an ideal location to conduct outdoor programs
for children. Only 250 Kms from Delhi and 50
Kms from Dehradoon the camp is very well connected.
Complete
care has been taken to ensure that the camp
conforms to the strictest environmental guidelines
and practices. Infact, the environmental code
followed by our organization has been adopted
by many nature based outfits in the Himalayas.
Even though there are no permanent structures
at the site, our team of highly experience guides,
cooks ,
Sherpas and management have spared no efforts
to make the it a very comfortable and fun place
to be.
Our
faculty boasts of experienced, competent and
dependable members looking after adventure activities,
naturopathy, astronomy, Yoga, bird watching
and wild life.
Adventure
Activities include
River
Rafting, Kayaking, Rock Climbing, Treks, Nature
Walks, Wild life watching and Birding. The virgin
forests around the camp are home to over 250
different kinds of birds like Minivets, Flycatchers,
Oriloes, Hornbills, Woodpeckers, Lapwings, Fowl,
Martins, flowepeckers etc. The jungles around
the camp are part of the Rajaji National Park
limits and are home to several species of deer
, elephants , wild boar , leopard , apes , monkeys
and numerous small mammals and reptiles.

(Nearest town) Rishikesh is 240 Kms from Delhi
and can reached by road or a combination of
deluxe train till Haridwar and thereafter by
road. ( 25 Kms ).
