About the Park
Kanha in Madhya Pradesh has been at times called the N'Gorongoro of India. Kanha was reserved as an exclusive hunting ground for the Viceroy during the days of the Raj. Kanha's diverse miscellany of mammal and birdlife is without many parallels, because so much is seen in so short a time. Also Kanha is known as one of the best places in the World to see tiger.
