DAY
01 : DELHI-CHANDIGARH-SHIMLA
Transfer to the railway
station in time to board the Shatabdi Express leaving
Delhi at 0730 hours and reaching Chandigarh at 1030
hours. Meeting and assistance upon arrival in Chandigarh.
Drive to Shimla (117kms / 04hours) and check into. Evening
at leisure.
DAY 02 : SHIMLA
Breakfast at hotel.
Full day sightseeing around Shimla. Shimla was the former
‘summer capital’ of British India and is
the present-day state capital of Himachal Pradesh. It
still holds lingering echoes of its colonial past. Go
shopping on the fashionable Mall, visit its neo-Gothic
churches, the grand former Vicarage Lodge and the cemeteries.
Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.
DAY 03 : SHIMLA-MANALI
Breakfast in hotel.
Drive to Manali covering a distance of 260kms in approx.
08hours. Packed lunch will be provided en-route. Check
into Hotel Manali Resorts upon arrival. Evening at leisure.
DAY 04 : MANALI
After breakfast visit
the temples of Jagatsukh and drive to Nagger, across
the Beas River. Naggar is a big village with old Castle
of Kullu ‘Raja’. It was an old capital of
the Kullu state. Another attraction is the Roerich Art
Gallery of a famous Russian artist who lived here. The
area is dotted with orchards, villages and green fields.
The scenic view of the whole Kullu valley and mountains
is unforgettable. Lunch en-route.
DAY 05 : MANALI
After breakfast drive
to Solang valley and Snow point. Solang is at a distance
of 10 Km along the Beas river. The valley’s ski
slopes are set against a backdrop of deciduous forests,
glaciers and majestic peaks. A scenic winding highway
over the Pir Panjal range leads to Snow point that offers
a beautiful view of the mountains. Lunch enroute.
DAY 06 : MANALI-DHARAMSALA
Breakfast in hotel.
Drive to Dharamshala (235kms / 08hrs). Packed lunch
en-route. Check into Hotel Surya Resorts upon arrival.

DAY 07 : DHARAMSALA
Breakfast in hotel.
Full day city sightseeing tour of Dharamshala. Dharamshala
is a beautiful town set amidst forests of pine and offers
a range of interesting experiences and activities for
visitors. The massive snow capped peaks of the Dhauladhar
range rise like a backdrop above the town. Interesting
places around Dharamsala are Triund, the popular picnic
and trekking spot, Kunal Pathri, a rock temple, Dal
Lake and Mcleodganj bazaar amongst others. Lunch en-route.
DAY 08 : DHARAMSALA-PRAGPUR
Breakfast in hotel.
Drive to Pragpur (60kms / ½ hour). The landscape
is beautiful with a rich variety of flora, fauna, innumerable
small monuments and a special rural ambience for walks
and picnics. Check into The Judge’s Court for
lunch, dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 09 : PRAGPUR
The Judge’s
Court, located in the valley of the Dhauladhars in the
Heritage Village of Pragpur, offers a unique holiday
in the medieval ambience of a Country Manor. Experience
the freshness from the orchids of mangoes, lychees,
grapes, plums and above all the silence of nature –
a great escape from the din of city life. Optional visits
to Haripur-Guler (27kms), the cradle of the Kangra School
of paintings where myth merges romantically with history
or the indomitable Kangra Fort (40kms).
DAY 10 : PRAGPUR-NALAGARH
After breakfast drive
to Nalagarh (08-09hrs) and check into Nalagarh Fort
Resort. Lunch en-route. The Fort is located on a hillock
at the foothills of the mighty Himalayas affording a
panoramic view of the Shivalik hills beyond the Sirsa
River. Nalagarh rises above a 10-acre estate of forest
and orchard built on five levels, three of which have
well manicured green areas. Evening at leisure.
DAY 11 : NALAGARH
Day free to indulge
in recreational activities. In house facilities at the
resort include amongst others a swimming pool, pitch
and putt golf green, health club with steam bath and
herbal massage, games like badminton and croquet, bar,
dining room, nature walks, picnic to Ramgarh Fort and
the famous Mughal Gardens at Pinjore and fishing at
Gobind Sagar Lake. Meals and overnight at the Resort.
DAY 12 : NALAGARH-DELHI
After breakfast drive
