Self-Drive from Mashobra (Shimla) to Manali

Safari Highlights

Another grand area of the great Himalayas. You will traverse through the peopled Simla hills into the romance of Kinnaur along the raging Sutlej river. Orchards of apricots and plums, the Kinnauris are hospitable and make a mean arak from their plentiful fruit. You may get lucky and taste some. Sangla is a hidden valley of great beauty with the magical village of Chitkul and its gate to paradise at its head. Spiti is a land like no other Kiplings description says it all - At last they entered a world within a world. A valley of leagues where the high hills were fashioned of the mere rubble and refuse from the knees of the mountains. Surely the Gods live here.

It is all a grand adventure, raging rivers, high mountains, incredible passes taking you for a circuit from the Simla hills and out into the Kully valley via the Rohtang Pass.
