Trekking in
Eastern Himalayas, Nepal and Bhutan
The Eastern Himalayas have all the highest peaks of the World leaving out K2 in Pakistan. Sikkim, Bhutan and Nepal are old Kingdoms, with Bhutan and Nepal still ruled by Kings. Sikkim was an independent state till about the middle of the 10th Century when it became a part of India. The romantic charm of these remote Kingdoms is still very much alive, more so in Bhutan whose splendid isolation shrouds it in a lot of mystery.
