It
was established in 1955 and has been a stronghold of
Project Tiger and a bastion for the the dwindling tiger
population in Rajasthan.
It is by far the best place to shoot
tigers. The tiger population has accustomed itself to
tourists and is not as vary of humans as tigers in other
national parks. They have also started venturing out
in daylight which is also a habit peculair to the tigers
in Ranthambore.
